Liposuction or Lipo

About liposuction, advanced lipo dissolve, after lipo, after liposuction, liposuction, liposuction cost, laser liposuction.

As we age , certain areas of the body can accumulate fat

that is hard to lose in spite or a healthy diet and vigorous exercise, the answer to get rid of this is liposuction. Liposuction is the most common performed type of cellulite surgery if a diet wont work anymore. Liposuction involves making incisions on the cellulite areas and sucking out the fat deposits through a tube.

Laser Liposuction
Laser Liposuction

Another way is laser liposuction. Laser liposuction is a minimally invasive cellulite surgery. At laser liposuction mall incisions on certain body areas are made and by using a laser guided through a fiber optic body fat is removed. If you opt for liposuction surgery keep in

mind that in the months and years following your surgery you must exercise and follow a healthy diet otherwise cellulite and the problem will return.

The neck is one such area plus  thighs, upper legs, breast reduction, chin liposuction. Beside of the usual method and laser lipo there is also ultrasonic liposuction.

Liposuction can give this and other areas of the body a new streamlined contour, enhancing the effect of facial features and improving the profile.

Liposuction procedures have consistently good results and has a particularly high satisfaction rate.

Deciding On Liposuction

We've all been there ? we've been eating a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and exercising on a regular basis; we feel great, but we just can't get rid of certain trouble spots, no matter how hard we try.

At this point, because of the availability of surgical procedures, many of us turn to liposuction to reduce the areas that dissatisfy us. Yet, as with any surgery, there is much to know about liposuction before making the decision to go ahead with it.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure in which tiny incisions are made around a site on the body that is storing excess fat. Through these incisions, tubes are inserted that literally vacuum the fat from the body. This is not a passive procedure, however, as the surgeon must plunge the tubes into the fat to be sure to get the most results and keep the look of the area even and consistent throughout. The result of all this pushing and prodding, of course, is pain.

The recovery from liposuction generally depends on the body area on which you had the procedure. You will often feel sore for quite some time. Additionally, post-surgery liposuction patients are required to wear a compression garment as part of their recovery. If you are considering liposuction, it is imperative that you understand the details of the procedure, including post-surgical care.

But most importantly, it is absolutely critical that you choose a reputable surgeon to perform your liposuction. This should include the research of the surgeon in question including background, experience, and any patient complaints that may have been lodged against him/her. Get referrals and speak with other liposuction patients about their experience with the surgeon and the results of their surgery as compared to their expectations. Most of all, you should be comfortable with the surgeon who

will perform your liposuction; you should feel that all of your questions are being answered and that you have been treated with respect.

Price should also be a consideration so as to determine if you need financing for the procedure. Price should not be considered when weighing an experienced, reputable surgeon against one that is fairly

unknown. In this particular situation, getting the cheaper price possibly at the cost of your safety is not worth it, at left you can see how liposuction looks when its done.

Finally, is important to remember that liposuction will not take the place of proper diet and exercise. There is no magic bullet to having a lean, healthy body. And if you have liposuction performed and continue to eat poorly and live a sedentary lifestyle, you will find the fat that you had surgically removed has just come back in another location, Cosmetic Surgery- To enhance your appearance and deal with your imperfections right away.

Basically live a healthy, active lifestyle; in many cases, this may be all you need!  Author Michelle Bery

Liposuction concerns

Q I'm a 30-year-old, somewhat active woman who is concerned my weight, so I try to exercise regularly. However, I can't seem to lose weight in my stomach area and in my thighs. Would I be a good candidate for liposuction, and what are the risks associated with this procedure?
G.W., Durham, N.C.

A: According to researchers, liposuction is the nation's most popular form of cosmetic surgery, resulting in about 400,000 procedures a year.

It appears that you would be a good candidate for the body contouring procedure, which dermatologic surgeons pioneered in the early '80s to remove undesired fat from nearly all body areas, including the abdomen and thighs.

Like any other surgical procedure, doctors say there are possible complications that are associated with liposuction. The most common problems include infection, pulmonary emboli, nerve compression and changes in sensation, swelling and skin necrosis. Some studies indicate that the risk of death in association to liposuction is as low as 3 deaths in 100,000 operations, while others say the death rate is between 20 and 100 deaths per 100,000 procedures.

Doctors stress that liposuction is usually a cosmetic procedure and that potential patients should get as much information as possible to make an informed decision about whether liposuction is right procedure for them. COPYRIGHT Johnson Publishing Co. and Gale Group

Here are some do's and don't as reminders for a person considering to go through liposuction
.

Do's:

-Get a medical evaluation. Ask your doctor if liposuction is right for you. Your doctor is there to keep you informed. He will tell you the pros and cons of liposuctions.

-Talk to family and friends. People you trust can convince you whether or not you should undergo the procedure.

- When you do decide on liposuction, choose the location careful. Stay aware of places that aren't a physician's office. Some procedures are done at salon, mall, hotel room or even someone else's home.

Liposuction must be done at a clinic or a hospital. Otherwise, if an emergency happens to take place, there are no care facilities to run to.

-Check the physician's background. Liposuction must be performed by a licensed physician who holds a dermatology specialty, training and experience. To make it easier, there are dermatology and cosmetic sites with names of credible physicians to supervise the sensitive procedure. You have to make sure that the physician is certified by a board with the approval of the American Board of Medical Specialties.

-Discuss liposuction pain management. This lessens the possible side effects of general anesthesia, also check out what happen after lipo.

-Ask the physician if this is the right procedure for you. Ask if this could have side effects on your skin type. Ask it the physician has performed this before. You, as a consumer, have a right to know.

-If you feel that you should get something else than they can offer or don't feel comfortable with the whole place and process, you can just say no.

Don't s:

-Be fooled by diplomas hanging on the physician's wall. You have to check your state medical board if they doctor is ok for doing liposuction. Make sure that the physician does not have any complaints filed against him.

-Base your decision also on the liposuction price asked. If it is lower than the usual rate, then you will not be getting the best treatment.

After Lipo
After Lipo

-Don't undergo the liposuction procedure if they don't give you an assurance that you are in safe and good hands.

Also importantly on doing liposuction, go with your instincts. If you feel that this isn't right, then you can always walk away. But if you are determined to go through the sensitive procedure, then just make sure that your health won't be at any risk.

Liposuction: no heart saver

Liposuction can remove fat cells, but--unlike diet and exercise--it may not cut your risk of heart disease and diabetes.
Researchers removed roughly 20 pounds of mostly abdominal fat from 15 obese women (each had at least a 40-inch waist). But after 10 to 12 weeks, there was no change in their insulin resistance, blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, C-reactive protein, or other risk factors for heart disease.

What to do: If you're overweight, eat less and exercise more. Liposuction may shed pounds--but not risk--because it doesn't make you take in fewer calories than you burn. Another possibility: although it removes fat cells that are subcutaneous (just under the skin), liposuction doesn't shrink fat cells or remove fat that's deeper in the abdomen, liver, and muscles.

Fat Busters

Plastic surgeons across the country are now performing a procedure they say is a kinder, gentler way to remove cellulite and fat. Lyposculpture, as it's known, is said to offer more precise shaping without the pain and long recovery time associated with liposuction. R. Patrick Abergel, M.D., of the Santa Monica Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center in California developed a technique using

ultrasound and minisculpturing instruments (of his own design) to remove fat. Therecovery period with lyposculpture is usually 48 hours (liposuction requires a week or more), and the average cost is about $5,000. For more information, call (800) 366-3211.

Liposuction vs Tummy Tuck

Each complication linked to being over weight can well be considered to be unique ? just as no two people are alike. Similarly, no two people can necessarily be given the same prescription as regards the amount of fat to be removed in cubic centimeters if at all liposuction is recommended, neither can the same amount of lose skin be removed as part of the tummy tuck procedure. The situations that give rise to the distortion of the body is the key to determining the mode of treatment and there begins the entire confusion as to what to go for: Liposuction vs. Tummy Tuck

Liposuction is best for areas of localized fat where the skin is relatively taut. This is important since liposuction does not get rid of lose skin or cellulite. Latest methods of introducing large amounts of a fluid mixed with anesthetic into the tissues from

which the excess fat needs to be sucked out using a narrow tube called cannula, is usually an outpatient procedure. Being a lot less complicated as compared to tummy tuck, it is definitely preferred over the latter. After surgery care is also minimal since the incisions that are made are less than half an inch long.

Tummy tuck is formally known as Abdominoplasty and this surgical procedure involves the reshaping and firming up of the abdomen. This is achieved by the removal of excess skin along with the fat below in the type of fat storing cells called the adipose tissue. The reasons are usually entirely aesthetic but at times, certain complications arising out of prior surgeries gone wrong can also be corrected using a tummy tuck. For instance, in case of a patient who has a tumor in the abdominal cavity may need a tummy tuck after the tumor is removed. In such cases, not just the skin, but also the muscles of the abdominal wall will need to be tightened. The surgery is also required in case of women whose have developed a paunch due to the abdominal skin stretching due to repeated pregnancies.

What ever be the cause a tummy tuck must be considered only when all other methods to try and get rid of the localized fat deposits have failed. This is a major surgery all said and done and the possibility of complications that can arise out of it are as high as that of any other invasive procedure. The procedure can take from one hour to five hours based on the complexity of the surgery performed. The basic procedure however remains the same; it begins with an incision being made on the abdominal area where the skin and muscles require tightening. The navel might need to be freed from this area to be sewn back later.

Liposuction Surgery

While a lot of people get liposuction so they can look thinner, some feel they need it to. After making the necessary adjustments, the skin flap is reattached and then the stitches are dressed. It can take a week or more to become fully mobile and continued care is necessary to avoid an infection. Author Gen Mason does cardio and works out everyday. Discover more about teen weight loss at Natural Weight Loss help control their health. Either way, the majority opinion is that it is a cosmetic surgery. If you are considering liposuction surgery, here is some advice on how you can determine if it is right for you. Maybe its laser lipo for you.

Laser Lipo
Laser Lipo

First, ask yourself how badly you want to get liposuction. Liposuction surgery actually removes the fat cells from your body. Once they go away, they can never come back. This may seem like a good thing, but it isn't necessarily positive. Let's say you start gaining weight again. Since some of your fat cells are missing, you won't put on pounds in those areas.

The end result of the liposuction treatment is a slightly heavier frame that is out of balance and has lumps throughout. Also keep in mind that people have died on the operating table during this procedure. You must want the surgery badly to risk your health for beauty, liposuction can also be done in the chin area called chin liposuction.

chin liposuction

Liposuction surgery does have its positive aspects.
What if you are thin and have a fairly low body fat count. You work out constantly, but you still have cellulite on your thighs. Well, you could be a perfect candidate for liposuction surgery. Consult a specialist, and they will tell you exactly what the procedure is like and help you determine if it is something you truly want to do.

Cosmetic surgeries, such as liposuction, exist almost completely to enhance your looks. However, this is not always the case. If you do decide to get liposuction for whatever reason, be sure to find a specialist who will perform the surgery correctly. However, there are risks, so you want to make sure you are getting the surgery for the right reasons.

Author Seth Miller Liposuction provides detailed information on Liposuction , Liposuction Cost, Abdominal Liposuction, Tumescent Liposuction and more. Liposuction is affiliated with Mini Tummy Tuck.

Liposuction and laser liposuction or abdominoplasty

is a variant of body contouring means before liposuction you look fat and ugly, after liposuction you look different. The problem left is how to get the skin away which forms ugly sculptures after liposuction removed the fat underneath.

Breast augmentation could also be done somehow by liposuction. Liposuction could also help on facial plastic surgery. Liposculpture actually probably is the way to go because it takes post liposuction into consideration.

The cost of liposuction or lipo suction today are manageable for almost everyone who want to do it this days.

Abdominoplasty surgery is done very often via a trip to some low cost countries as India, Thailand and elsewhere. But after lipo it almost all the times needs some rework this is the same for liposuction around the belly area, breast reduction liposuction, chin liposuction or whatever. A solution could also be laser lipo. Laser lipo is for sure a good alternative to liposuction surgery, the same applies to endoscopies liposuction.

Laser lipo and endoscope liposuction are some of the new breed of liposuction, others are smart lipo or ultrasonic liposuction. But however we twist and turn it the old fashion plastic surgeons liposuction by using the scalpel and the fat suck device could still be the best to get the required result.
