Nose plastic
surgery, nose
job or
rhinoplasty
is one of the
most common
cosmetic surgery
performed.
Nose plastic
surgery or nose
surgery can
be divided into
two procedures.
One procedure of
nose plastic
surgery or
rhinoplasty is
to try to get
the nose into
the shape by
working from
inside the nose
to avoid visible
scars. This type
of nose plastic
surgery is more
repair and
reconstructive.
Many plastic
surgeon do this
procedure
but if you like
a smaller nose
there is almost
no way around a
implant. In this
type of nose
plastic surgery
or rhinoplasty
your nose is
virtually taken
away and a
implant comes in
to give a new
form. This nose
plastic surgery
has some pros
and contras, one
is, the nose
looks very
streamlined and
it is almost
visible that
this is not
natural.
Actually many
celebrities have
their nose job
done this way.
Just look at the
nose from this
lady below its
almost too
perfect.
On the other
side, a nose job
performed this
way cost only a
fraction of the
plastic surgery
cost when it is
done without a
implant and the
plastic surgeon
only take about
1 to 2 hours to
finish the nose
plastic surgery.
As an
example, I have
done male
rhinoplasty
in a Bangkok,
Thailand clinic
the normal way,
means try to
shape the nose
and make it
smaller with the
usual
reconstructive
method from
inside and that
rhinoplasty cost
was about $
900,- This is
the normal price
a rhinoplasty
surgeon takes in
Bangkok. The
nose job effect
was not very
good, now the
nose looks more
straight and the
shape is a
little better,
but I wanted a
smaller nose
which is not the
case now.
The other
nose job surgery
goes like this.
Some time ago a
nice Thai girl
asked me if I
could drive with
her to Surat
Thani Town
because she want
to have a nose
job done there,
I asked here how
much ? She said
about $ 200,-. I
couldn't believe
it first since
this sounded a
very low price
for a nose job.
Anyway the next
day we went from
Phuket to Surat,
after a while of
searching we
found the clinic
and we sat down
in the waiting
room.
After a while
one of the
plastic surgeon
assistant
handed over some
magazine like
pages with a lot
of faces in
there and asked
her to have a
look which nose
she like. After
some back and
forward she
pointed at one
face with the
just the nose
she like. This
was the picture
of a celebrity
who also has a
nose job done
and she went to
see the plastic
surgeon.
After about
one hour she
came back
holding a ice
pack at the nose
and took about
10 different
pills, including
antibiotics the
nose plastic
surgeon gave
her. She behave
as if she was
drunk since the
anesthetic stuff
was still in
her. After about
30 minutes we
took off and
drove back to
Phuket. I saw
the girl, she
was about 20
years old a few
weeks later and
was really
amazed, the nose
looked perfect
and natural, all
together the
plastic surgery
cost was only
about $ 220,-.
Actually she had
to loot her bank
account, but it
looks like it's
been worth it.
In the
meantime I heard
a other nose
plastic surgery
possibility is
also now in
Phuket, either
in one of the 2
big hospitals,
quite expensive.
A alternative is
a clinic at
Patong who just
work as
mentioned above,
now the prices
are about $
300,- for Thai
people. In
Thailand
foreigners
usually have to
pay more for
many things.
Also this
nose job clinic
has a good nose
plastic surgeon
because I saw
the result of
the rhinoplasty
procedure the
other day on a
other lady, that
was not perfect
but quite ok. In
Phuket Thailand
they have
another plastic
surgery clinic
where sex
transformation
is done, they
are very
popular, they
people come from
all over the
world to have
this kind of
plastic surgery
done.
Rhinoplasty:
What
Is
It?
What
Does
It
Involve?
Rhinoplasty
or

cosmetic

the
nose.
The
appearance
of
the
nose
is
determined
by
its
cartilage
and
bone.
Rhinoplasty
is
the
process
of
altering
the
size
and
position
of
this
bone
and
cartilage.
Before
seeking
advice
from
a
plastic
surgeon,
it
is a
good
idea
to
look
carefully
at
your
nose,
and
decide
which
aspects
of
it
you
would
like
to
be
changed.
Common
complaints
of
nose
size
and
shape
are:
Many
surgeons
consider
Rhinoplasty
or
nose
job
to
be
the
most
complicated
facial
surgery
procedure.
It
is
also
perhaps
the
most
noticeable
change
you
can
make
to a
person
-
being
in
the
middle
of
the
face.
This
is
particularly
evident
in
cases
where
Rhinoplasty
or
nose
job
has
been
disappointing.
On
any
singular
Rhinoplasty
or
nose
job,
a
skilled
plastic
surgeon
is
likely
to
employ
tens,
or
even
more,
of
surgical
techniques
to
achieve
the
desired
result.
If
you
have
had
a
bad
'nose
job',
you
may
still
be
able
to
have
the
appearance
of
your
nose
improved.
It
is
imperative
that
you
find
a
skilled
expert,
however,
to
correct
the
faults.
Correcting
a
bad
Rhinoplasty
is
far
more
complex
than
the
first
operation.
It
is
not
advisable
to
return
to
the
same
surgeon.
You
should
investigate
reputable
plastic
surgeons,
who
can
supply
an
exhaustive
portfolio
of
successful
work.
Prior
to
getting
nose
surgery,
there
are
some
things
to
note:
-
Do not take blood-thinning agents (such as aspirin)
-
Do not expose your nose to sun
-
Do not wear perfume
-
Wear loose clothing that is easy to put on and remove
After
Surgery
There
is
likely
to
be
some
swelling,
and
this
may
make
breathing
more
difficult
than
normal.
This
is
common,
but
try
to
sniff
rather
than
blow
your
nose,
as
this
is
harsher
on
the
tissues
and
will
prolong
the
healing
process.
A
humidifier
at
night
and
a
cup
of
water
to
hand
can
make
sleeping
easier
for
the
first
few
nights
after
Rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty or Nose Job - The Fast Way Many people are not very satisfied with their noses. Changing the shape of the nose involves having nose surgery, also known as rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty is done usually within 1- 3 hours.
A new procedure performed by many plastic surgeons is non-surgical rhinoplasty. This is a minimally invasive procedure that takes less than 5 minutes to perform. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is performed in the office using no anesthesia. Using a small needle, a tissue filler such as Restylane is injection in two areas of the nose. The result is that hump is hidden and appears to be rotated and better defined. The improved shape of the nose is obvious immediately. Visit our website to view before and after photographs of rhinoplasty patients. |
The results of injections may last up to 8 months. Various injectable agents are available with different duration time. Bruising is rare and swelling is minimal. Patients may return to work the same day. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a great option for patients who do not want surgery and wish immediate results with almost no recovery. Prior to the procedure patients are ask to avoid taking Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, or other medications that may promote bruising. This procedure is frequently combined with injection of the tissue filler in the face to decrease the appearance of smile lines and wrinkles. Some patients prefer to undergo lip augmentation at the same time. After trying non-surgial rhinoplaty, certain patients may later to decide to have permanent changes and request a formal surgical rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty (also known as "nose job" or nose plastic surgery) is a type of plastic surgery that is used to enhance the function or appearance of a person’s nose.
Rhinoplasty or nose job has a profound history, as it was first developed by Sushruta (often dubbed as the "father of surgery"), who lived in ancient India around 500 BC. Several centuries down the line, his method of forehead flap rhinoplasty is practiced almost unchanged even today. Rhinoplasty can be performed for aesthetic reasons (cosmetic surgery) or to rectify congenital defects or breathing problems (reconstructive surgery).
People sometimes feel that the shape or size of their nose is a source of social discomfort and embarrassment. But with rhinoplasty, patients don't have to live with a disfigured nose. Plastic surgery can seamlessly enhance the appearance of their nose and, therefore, instill a sense of self-esteem in them. Having a normal looking nose and facial features, they can enjoy social events with confidence and vigor.
Rhinoplasty or nose job is performed under general or local anesthesia, depending on the doctor’s discretion and the patient’s preference. Incisions are made on the nose to remove the soft tissue of the nose, revealing the underlying cartilage and bone.
|
|
The cartilage and bone is then reshaped to rectify the deformity. A synthetic implant is necessary if the bone structure is weakened or damaged, possibly owing to an accident. The reshaping is not purely cosmetic; it might also be done to improve breathing.
All in all, rhinoplasty or nose job is one of the most commonly performed plastic surgery procedures. It can effectively alter the shape of the nose tip or the nose bridge, if the patient finds the original features unappealing. Apart from its aesthetic benefits, it can also rectify breathing problems and congenital defects or injury. No wonder why rhinoplasty is a highly prevalent form of plastic surgery.
